App Scouts

An app was created as part of the 10th Berlin Biennale’s mediation program that allowed visitors to connect with the exhibition through participatory means. Young people with special needs artistically examined the works in the exhibition and commented on them using various media. The app designed around these comments allowed the exhibition to be experienced inclusively and from a variety of perspectives, while presenting the work interactively for all visitors—with and without disabilities. App users could play the recorded comments and add their own.

Im Rahmen des Vermittlungsprogramms der 10. Berlin Biennale wurde eine App entwickelt, die einen partizipativen Zugang zur Ausstellung ermöglichte. Die Werke der Ausstellung wurden mit jungen Menschen mit besonderen Bedürfnissen künstlerisch untersucht und mit verschiedenen Medien kommentiert. Eine App auf Grundlage dieser Kommentare ermöglichte inklusive Zugänge zur Ausstellung aus verschiedenen Perspektiven und vermittelte die gezeigten Arbeiten interaktiv für alle Besucher*innen – mit und ohne Behinderungen. App-Nutzer*innen konnten die Kommentare wiedergeben und eigene hinzufügen.
